Because word verification has been being a real bitch in some other blogs I read, I've turned it off for the time being. If I start accumulating spam, I'll turn it back on.
My questions for you, the person who's reading this: has word verification ever refused to verify you in my blog? Has the need to do word verification ever stopped you from commenting because it's too much trouble?

I don't recall it refusing to verify me, although it fairly often takes more than one attempt--most likely because I can't tell what one or more of the letters is supposed to be.
It's never stopped me from commenting. I like being able to comment without the verification, but I consider verification a minor inconvenience. If it works like it's supposed to and limits spam--which I find much more annoying--I am for it.
