What did you think of Born to Run?
I enjoyed it. If I look at it analytically, it seems like the sort of thing that I should have found overly self-indulgent. But in reality, I was entertained throughout and wouldn't have mind having more.
Which is how a Bruce Springsteen concert works too, now that I think about it.
And now when various songs come up in my itunes, I suddenly know exactly what they're about.
I think Springsteen's self-indulgence works for me because he is so intent on telling other people's stories.
I'm glad you liked the book. I want people to read it and like it!
